Within our Finance department, you’ll find a variety of teams taking responsibility for a broad range of tasks. Within each one, you’ll find a commitment to quality and customer service.
Financial Planning. Our team looks after budgets and management accounts. We work hard to keep the business on-target and ensure we’re achieving or indeed exceeding necessary levels of profitability.
Financial Accounting. We’ve the important task of managing colleague pay throughout the business. We also focus on maintaining accurate company financial statistics. These are invaluable for meeting our industry’s strict regulatory controls.
Internal Auditing. It’s our responsibility to oversee the checks and balances a large organisation like First Great Western depends on. Together, we help minimise waste, spot errors and recommend courses of action to help us meet our financial targets.
Procurement. It’s our role to source the supply chains for the huge range of products and services we depend on. We strive to deliver best value for money procurement by developing innovative supply solutions and supplier relationships that contribute to the achievement of our wider strategic targets.
